Well to be honest its still not like just any other celebrity perfume. If you look at its ingredients it definitely has a unique mixture of scents for a pop stars fragrance. The truth is in its scent though of which we've yet to experience. You let the fragrance defend itself when it comes to celebrity lines. Hardly any of them are truly as luxurious or elegant as true fragrance-heads can appreciate. They're meant to be somewhat cheap and accessible for the masses. Thats why they're popular.

But this one will probably be very expensive, and the difference you mentioned are really a matter of opinion. I feel like she wrote down what the ingredients were going to be and then went to figure out how it would work. My main bug with this is that is cements her into just being a pop star instead of a musical icon.

didn't justin bieber make a perfume for little girls? lmfao, what a creeper

Yes he did, and to be honest I think the idea of a straight man buying a Lady Gaga perfume is less crazy than a straight man buying a Justin Bieber one :lolgaga:

It's not very well done. I wish Gaga would stay away from perfumes because it's not her domain and I can't see a reason to do it other than money. It's not like she's mentioned aroma in any sense relating to her music (the one time I remember her talking about smell was when she said she enjoyed smelling progressively crappier at the 2010 VMA's).

But :ohwell: I say, if she wants to salvage the damage this will do to her 'it's all about the music, I hate money' reputation, she should make it relatively cheap and send the profits to LGBT charities. That way everyone wins. Just my two cents though.

maybe she just wants to connect with her fans by giving them an idea of the smells she likes and being able to walk out the door feeling confident when they are wearing her perfume?

and WHY are LGBT charities the only one you mention? What about the poor, starving, homeless children? Why not donating to charities for them too? -_- I understand a large portion of her fans are LGBT (which I support), but that's not the ONLY cause she should ever support in her life.

Mmm idk about that. Madonna is a musical icon and she has a fragrance.

Yeah the ingredients are a matter of opinion I guess? I just meant that most celebrity lines go for a sweet/candy scent or a strictly floral scent (ex. Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, Madonna, Kim Kardashian, SJP) and in looking at her ingredients I don't think she went that route :P

there shouldn't be such thing as a unis-x perfume imo--that's ridiculous.

perfume is for women, cologne is for men. it's nothing to do with girliness or homos-xuality--it's gender

Oh, hello Middle Ages. Or, alternatively, America in the 1950s.

Katy's is the cutest of all the pop stars tbh :nails:

Rihanna's looks stupid, Britneys are tackys. Gaga's would be AMAZING if it wasnt plastic.

And Madonna's perfume is worse tbh

Katy wins, hands down.

Her perfume is amazing and ****s on all other popstars.

The bottle is cute, well-made and yet unique but with mass appeal. :flutter:

I really doubt this perfume will do as well as Katy's.

Whether you like them or not, they are musical icons too... and not just pop stars
