They can oftentimes not only leave us completely fed up with politics but utterly confused where are political loyalties lie. Moreover, individuals can often feel as though their party doesn't truly represent their political ideologies. Therefore, I was wondering where members of GGD stand politically after many significant recent elections have taken place. rumours 45,521 Posted June 13, 2017 Author Share Posted June 13, 2017 My political compass graph: I tend to be a Libertarian leaning person that is very liberal in terms of social issues and doesn't identify with the two main parties in my country - Democrats and Republicans. As an American citizen, this latest election gave us the Trump administration. It says that interest of humans and trans-national corporations cannot go hands to hands. Economical liberals support free market because they think it benefits humans not some inhumane entities. Because of this shallow approach, I can never answer strongly dis/agree to any of those questions. So that's where I'm coming from. Never been confused about it. I've taken this test and others like it before, and they hold no surprises for me, except sometimes in how they characterize others. My understanding of the question is: which is the ultimate goal of globalization? Essentially, should the primary (#1) goal of this globalization be to benefit an individual consumer or a corporation itself? (It was the first time I saw this two-axis political map.) Every question is biased to push people to giving the Libertarian-approved answer; then they graph the results, and surprise, "most people are really libertarians". :roll eyes: This version at least tries to express questions from different viewpoints. They aren't all meant to be "neutral" -- some are phrased the way a person of a particular view would phrase them, and that's naturally going to offend people of the opposite view, sometimes.
