I don't understand what you mean. Here's the case. Once you become a soldier, you are under military laws. Under korean civil laws, homosexuality is legal. Rediculously, Constitutional Court adjudicated homosexual relationship in military is not illegal. And being homosexual in korea itself is not illegal but in military it is. I am saying that I am sure you don't have to serve in army as a gay man if you declare it to the army before they take under arms. Nah every male have to go to military unless They are disable or something like that. if I declare not to be army, whatever the reason is I'll be sent to jail. Not doing so will get you jailed. Exemptions are only apply to men with physical or mental disabilities. And if one change nationalities to escape this, they will be banned from entering the country ever.
