I have used public transport all my life and been in situation where people man spreading even women in pants too. No problem. The fact people are taking issues in such menial thing say alot about modern life. Soon enough people will not even feel free in the comfort in their own house!

Nobody said only men can do this. Some women did it too. I been a witness of this. Also everyone in public transit when they find an empty seat, they want to be comfortable until they to their destination. Do you even think before you type rather than showing the overflow of emotions??

If public transport designe not tobe comfortable, there won't be seats in the first place. Or padded seats in some cases for buses.

And no, seats are limited in public transport. That is why there are loops for people to hold on to when they don't find a seat and have to stand until there's one available.

If manspreading is necessary to a man ('s pride), then why don't you see drag queens hobbling around in pain, with tears in their eyes and only talking in squeaks? Tucking impacts one's genitals probably more than sitting with your legs at an angle slightly less than 90 degrees.

Seriously: if your junk is in the right place, then trust me, you can cross your legs all the way to Uranus and back. Even sitting with your legs parallel shouldn't be much of an issue...

As a man I have to say manspreading is rude and men should know better than that. And no, it's not really uncomfortable to close or cross your legs so stop pretending your junk is so gigantic you need to take up extra space on public transportation.  Gosh, have some decency and class.
