Does Gaga Have "A Face"?

So first off, I know the question's weird, so I'll try to make it as clear as I possibly can

And, I apologize if this is just a stupid question in general, but this is something I've wondered for a long time and I just wanted to get people's thoughts on it

So, almost every major pop star that I can think of has "a face", like when you think of Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Ariana, Britney, etc., you can clearly imagine what they look it. 

For some reason—and I think this applies more to the general public than Little Monsters, because obviously we know what Gaga looks like—I don't think Gaga has "a face". Like, when people think of Gaga, they may think of this:

But, would they also think this is Lady Gaga?:

I think it's because Gaga's had so many looks and different nuances over the years, that she's both literally and metaphorically a chameleon in the music industry.

Also, when I was younger—and this could very much be me being ignorant—I never had a super strong mental image about who "Lady Gaga" was.

Hopefully this all made sense though and you get what I'm trying to say  Also, again, sorry if it's a stupid question, but it's something that I experienced myself, and for some reason, I just don't imagine Gaga having "a face".

I agree with you. That's one of her main advantages as an artist: you can never EXPECT her to do something because shes always going to pull out another trick from her sleeve.

Like, with Joanne, she's definitely toned back with the make up and the "outlandish outfits", so if you just got a random person off the street, and showed him/her a picture of Gaga during the Joanne era, would he be able to instantly recognize who it is?

When I think of Gaga, my mind always goes to how she looked at the Monster Ball Tour, but yeah, I'm sure it's different for everyone.

and I actually find it hard sometimes to accept that TheFameGa is the same person as BTWGa

she changed her make-up, hair and general appereance so much in a time period of 9/10 years that it almost looks like there are several Gagas and not just one

But I think that's good, it keeps her "fresh".

Oh definitely! I love that she changes her look and stuff, I was just wondering if people could still even recognize her/pick her out today since her looks always change and evolve
