Yes but Nielsen and RIAA are two very different things, RIAA can report the sales but Billboard has rules that can decide whether or not those count as album streams

Individual song streams and downloads contribute to sales plus streaming numbers on the Billboard 200 album chart. Obviously they are hoping to drive up streaming numbers.

I think it's more about just getting exposure and having people talk about her/the songs/album. After all with someone like her it's about cultural and social impact rather than real #1's....

She's already made it, all she has to do is keep her name in the zeitgeist somehow. (Disco balls, Taylor Swift)
