Spoiler It just hurt because I was trained in several areas and they hated to let me go, especially since they're going to have a difficult time looking for my replacement But yeah, it was a matter of time anyways. I had thoughts of quitting because I felt overworked and underpaid for the quality of work I was giving them, and their raises were a joke since I was still below the new minimum wage (then again, it was just a retail job).
