I actually love In The Zone and Blackout. But that doesn't mean I think she's talented :classy:

She is iconique, yes. But not for her voice, her song writing skills, etc. but more her persona and image.

Her music is bop worthy but laughable to musicians.

Shes an entertainer and that's about it.

Danced with a few of her dancers back in the day.  She's very nice and sweet.  She and her dancers are all fans of Gaga and Beyonce.  Lots of mutual respect

The Duet between Gaga and Beyoncé is great, but that's it. Nobody remember it now, other story if Britney was in it, that what i mean with fusing to iconic pop forces that will easily past the test of time. If you want to convince yourself that the right thing was to add Beyoncé, then you are not a fan of Lady Gaga, you are a fan of Joanne.

Not sure who you are to tell me what I'm a fan of... but you obviously need to realize Joanne is Gaga.  The fact that I don't have to diss you to make my point shows that I'm living by peace rather than ignorance.   I'm a fan of all 3 as I've said, and that's okay.  We all have our tastes, none of them are wrong or bad, just different.

Sorry, I didn't know you are the Police of Vocals and Talent.

I mean I did go to school for music :giggle:

But I think most anyone with an untrained ear can still tell you that Britney is NOT a good singer. But that doesn't mean she's not a good entertainer.

Beyonce is both.

Britney is about image and it's never been about her vocal talent.

Again, Britney is nice and sweet and all... but that doesn't mean I have to bow down and call her queen of vocals.

I don't mind Britney but if someone honestly believes that Britney is a better singer than Beyoncé... I have to let them know.

I ended up switching majors BUT yes, music majors for the win :classy: I spent plenty of time studying music but THIS thread is exactly why I quit music. People bashed others based on their opinions of them rather than factual evidence.

People treat music as though it is all opinion... but it's not.

What on Earth is that supposed to mean? So, if I preferred Gaga having a washed up, vocally challenged (that's me putting it nicely) pop "singer" added to the track instead of Beyoncé, I'd be more of a Gaga fan? Also, you can diss Joanne all you want, but I'd love to hear Britney try and even remotely sing Million Reasons. Let me tell you though.... I would have a hundred million reasons to walk away if Britney was singing....:classy:

Yeah, sometimes Beyoncé lip syncs because she's actually dancing (Gaga has done it too: Judas SNL).

It wasnt playback, just one verse got out of the mic, it might be a mic problem or smth, but she NEVER used Playback for a performance, while other artist do whole performances with it. :firega:

OT Britney >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Beyoncé

Britney dropped that song from her own album, what makes you think Gaga will ask her again to sing it, this time with her?

Besides, Gaga might have another visions how the song should be presented and the duet pretty much reciprocal since she was in Beyonce's song earlier too. Also, at that time of release, Beyonce with her I AM... album is another big name next to Gaga who owned the radios.

Look at the bigger picture, this duet is not only stemmed from artistic visions of Gaga but also a precise marketing strategy from both their labels and managers.

A lot of drama but no answers. :emma:

Britney recorded Telephone for Circus but it obviously wasnt included, instead Gaga took it back and she and Britney would make it a duet for TFM. They recorded it, but Britney('s team) wanted to make it Britney's song (again) and have it included in Britney's upcoming greatest hits compilation, and not on The Fame Monster, so Gaga ditched Britney and did it with Bey.

People can believe Britney is better than Beyoncé. You go to school for music, big deal. It's all down to taste and opinions and personally I think Beyoncé makes bad music, has an unpleasant voice, and puts on boring shows. You don't get to tell people they are wrong.
