Maybe they're learning English, maybe it's their first job and their first time in the country. Don't expect everyone to just know it right off the bat because that's unrealistic. Plus, like I said, it's an Asian specific area. To want someone to just something that is not of their native tongue seems selfish to me. It's the "White Man's Burden" to have people assimilate to their culture, and their lifestyle, and it's both absurd and disgusting that she would go to an establishment like this place and demand that people speak English. We all live in a racist and xenophobic society, and I want you to recognize when you're following/participating in some of our society's ugly patterns and hope you'll correct such instances with the benefit of full information and compassion, and fight against discrimination and hate attacks both verbal and physical.
