dit 46,482
This is a messy list. I agree with a lot of them but there are some that are literally all over the place. Any who I will say I really find...: Beyonce's vocal agility is beyond amazing. Celine's technique and execution is flawless (peak years). Pink's tone is eargasmic Whitney's depth and richness in her voice is amazing. She is a mid ranger and her voice is full and layered. It feels like someone hit you in the gut. It isn't a sharp feeling it's really a full out blow. Love it so much. Jojo's "game" in her tracks is outstanding. It's like she plays with the music with her voice the way an animal plays with its prey. Very agile voice. Tori Kelly also does this.

I think it's talking overall rather just a studio version (which is heavily perfected) of their technique.
darkchylde 14,857
this list is worthless, putting Florence Welch any lower than A+

Still can't see some of the justifications here, though. I know it's about technique but still... Breondon Urie above Adele? Girl please.... Umm Brendon Urie could be Gaga's male counterpart. His voice is just as theatrical and really transcends multiple genres like Gaga's. Just looking at panic at the disco's albums he's traversed through rock, pop, jazz, ballads, and electronic music. He's wonderful live and really has great control and power in his voice. Not to mention his amazing range. I can definitely see why he's above Adele. "My people… need to let our bitchiness out. Again, the sound of their voice is different from their technique. I agree that both Adele and Sia have great sounding voices, and I actually prefer the sound of their voices from Gaga's, but AGAIN this is talking about technique, and when it comes to that, they ain't that great. Fore example, Adele most of the time opts to use falsetto rather than actually belt the high note on Set Fire to the Rain. It sounds great, but it's because she can't confidently hit that note all the time. Sia's voice cracks are also another example. They sound good and make her sound emotional, but they are clear red flags of horrible technique and are actually dangerous for the voice. This list is about technique. Who has better breathing, better control, better resonance, better intonation, better phrasing, and not necessarily about who's vocal tone sounds the best. (because tbh Adele really has an amazing tone that makes my knees weak)

I'm not complaining though, I love all her live performances, and even when she gets off-key and starts screaming sometimes, I JUST FALL IN LOVE WITH HER EVEN MORE!! Her shows are so cathartic and almost feel like exorcisms and I'm always literally shaken after watching live videos of her. This is an example of her at her best with literally I think no flaws and slays careers and the fact that she can make this sound holy is amazing

ItsTommyBitch 12,640
Hm. Having an understanding of vocal technique (thanks music classes ) I pretty much agree with this list. The shade in bolding Ariana/Adele though, like why Both of their singing talents are overrated, but still Ariana during the Yours Truly era for me was B+ level, but she started belting and reaching her high notes in unhealthy ways. Her voice in general was way healthier during that era. She could whistle live consistently, her intonation was flawless, her runs were always in key and her diction wasn't that bad...(though Ariana chooses to sing in that style - her diction is fine, as evidenced by her broadway performances and covers on her original YouTube channel -- having followed her since pre Yours Truly, her singing style shifted mid way through that time period) I wonder how much of it was because she didn't used to dance and could focus more. But Florence a C+? I know her intonation can be not so great at times, and she doesn't always improvise in the key, but she has technique for days and her musicality is great. She's not an overly unhealthy or untrained singer either, she just has some inconsistent vocals, which are part of the fact that shes literally sometimes sprinting across stages to hype the crowd and things of that nature. When shes just focused on it, she can outsing some of the A list girls, including Gaga - her voice is more powerful and her control over her actually fantastic range is understated. Great dynamic control, vibrato, control of tone/timbre. I'd put her at a B+ for these things, her talents > her flaws 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
