I will say I think Ari can work her way up to an A or star. She just needs to work on enunciation and breath control.

I do think Beyonce was overrated. She does have great technique but most of the time her belts turn into screams, even in studio versions. Runs are her specialty imo.

this list is worthless, putting Florence Welch any lower than A+

Florence's technique is FAR from A though and I love her

I'm happy Gaga is so high on that list, and I'm just curious to know why Lana Del Rey is so low on the list? I don't know much about singing and stuff so can anyone explain it to me? Ty

The list is about technique, stop looking ridiculous by discussing everything on it based on your own taste without real konwledge on the matter.

I am not being pretentious, idk **** about this but the list seems well reasonated and people who know about technique here agree with it.

that being said, I only have one thing that doesn't look right to me and I want to ask, Michael Jackson? Did he ever sing live? (Not shade, I don't really know). And if he didn't, how can they measure his technique? Studio is one thing, live performances is when you really see that...

she is not very proficient techniaclly, has major issues with intonation, placement etc...

Yeah, that is what i thought ... he was not really that good... i dont know much about his voice, did not bother to listen to him at all, but from what i have heard, i would definitely not put him in star, or even A list....

I just read something on this blog that kinda of cleared up some ranks in the list. From what I understood, basically the recurrent flaws are heavily taken into consideration, maybe more than the occasional great points (a lot of people in the comments are like "hey but look at that note she/hit once in 1830..."), because young people may take the high graded singers as inspiration and they might repeat the same unhealthy technique mistakes those singers commit/commited, that's why Christina Aguilera and Adele aren't higher, for example.

I'm not saying I agree with everything in the list but I'm not saying I disagree either, I don't have enough knowledge and experience for that.
