It's another angle to the evidence that Trump was committing obstruction of justice, that's for sure.

The thing about obstruction is that it doesn't rely on a guilty conviction, attempting to obstruct an empty investigation still holds up. Even if Trump & crew were innocent, which they're obviously not, Trump can still be impeached/prosecuted for obstruction.
