Saudi Arabia is one of the countries that cut its ties with Qatar; also, how does it make sense to cut diplomatic ties ? You want wars ? Because that's how you get wars.

So does Saudi Arabia and Egypt 

But at least this will put pressure on Qatar and the surrounding nations to perhaps move away from funding or accepting funds from militant and extremist groups. We'll see how this plays out in the future and if this actually has any substantial affect.

Cutting diplomatic ties do not provoke wars. If you think Bahrain would wage war against Qatar then you have no clue what you're talking about.

Saudi Arabia, and to a lesser extent Egypt, are indeed extremist Islamic countries, and the Wahhabi and Salafi doctrine are strict in their interpretation of the Quran.

But, if you made an effort, you would realize how the fact that they are extremely conservative, yet cut ties with Qatar, IS positive. It is, potentially, encouraging, as it could mean that the institutional Sunni world, which is the main interlocutor with Western countries, is starting to become more open to actually comdemn international violence & to cooperate with us.

Sweetie, I'm middle Eastern, You don't need to tell me about diplomatic ties and policies in the Middle East.  I'm well aware of that. That's why I explicitly stated that it will hopefully move away from shady deals and corrupt politics that plague the gulf countries in the ME, which is exactly what you're saying. I'm actually hoping that this brings about positive consequences that could potentially stabilize the volatility of that part of the Middle East. 

I mentioned Saudi Arabia and Egypt because they have a notorious history of doing similar political traditions. I'm just calling them out for their mess as well  I'm glad you're well versed in Middle Eastern politics, not a lot of people are

Not sure what significant does this made. All I know Qatar is in difficult situation now since this also means they cannot fly their flights on and around these countries and their abroad flights must find new routes now

Qatar is NOT EVEN CLOSE to becoming a super power.. please know your facts straight before making a point
