I find it hard to believe that anyone can be surprised by anything this man does/says anymore. I wouldn't have been surprised at this from him two years ago. I guess I'm just fascinated by your case and it reminds me of some people in my country that voted for Brexit and then took a complete U-turn and regretted it when they realised what it meant. It's just insane to me that you arduously and relentlessly backed him for so long even though his behaviour during his campaign is exactly the same as it is now, and you suddenly hate him. I am now Democrat and support Al Franken 2020. Just curious, why do you support Al Franken? He's pretty progressive and if I recall correctly, you were opposed to a progressive nominee. He is funny, relatable, and didn't come from a lot money. He also has only been a politician since 2009 and I like the bills he pushes in the Senate. I agree with a lot of what he agrees with and he just seems like he has the common sense and personality to take Trump in 2020. There's no need to make fun of his past decisions in this way. This guy spent months and months pushing Trump's rhetoric and racist ideas. He has his own dog whistles, as currently as last month. That level of support...for those types of ideas and propaganda...aren't going to be ignored or forgotten overnight. The switch from one extreme to the other is also highly suspicious.
