In one interview when Gaga was asked if she would cover the song she was very evasive to answer the question meaning she will probably cover it. Even if it does not become the single for the album it will most likely be on the soundtrack as tribute to the Barbra version of the film. So are you excited for Gaga's take on the song? Just in the soundtrack. She really did not want to say "no" in her interview when they asked her about covering it. It looked like she was in fact surprised that the reporter asked that...probably wants it to be a bit of a surprise for the fans of the original soundtrack. I think it was a radio interview with video footage. it was in the beginning of the PI era. I really don't want to watch tons of those vids to find it though. If I remember right it was on Elvis Duran that she said it's all going to be original music and there isn't going to be Evergreen on it.
