She actually takes notes and tries to better herself it seems which is a good trait in popstars of her caliber. Being too stubborn can really hurt your career. However those vocals are...meh. She has a weak voice, but she stayed mostly on pitch and didn't sound like she just ran an marathon. 2. She needs to find a new choreographer. That's some middle school talent show dancing right there. 3. Two of the judges (the one in the blue and the blonde one) can GET IT. Of course it takes more than singing, but I don't get why hiring someone who doesn't know about the main element of the artist, which is singing in this case. For example, Xtina is a perfect choice for a coach as she herself knows about it and can guide the process. Christina is a coach on The Voice, where they do focus on the VOICE. American Idol is about being an artist/performer/singer, they focus on your image, not just your voice. On The Voice they turn their backs to the contestants so they can focus on The Voice, but on AI they take into consideration your look, stage presence etc. as well. Simon doesn't know how to guide someone's vocal talent, but there are vocal coaches for that. But he is there to guide them in every single other aspect. It grew on me, i do think it is sexy (if you erase those stupid lyrics from your memory) and very light, summer light. But this performance is just boring. Great, she has fruits and backdrop videos, but what was suprising in there? It ended the same way it started. Considering that the song itself is kind of flat (not in negative way), she should try to make up for it with visuals, dance and vocals (ekhm, maybe this one is not possible...).
