Why aren't they attacking Canada, Mexico, South America, and most other European countries then? This is what happens when countries try and destabilize others. We ask why, but we all know why. And it's shitty, but some answers rest in the hands of the people in government. They're the ones who allowed for history to play out like this.

Because none of those otheer countries have a sizeable population of muslims

The past actions of the US, UK and others are definitely a major role in their creation and rise to power but their actions are not retaliations to western presence in the Middle East.

If I was ISIS I would probably target countries that couldn't fight back. Furthermore, if ISIS's goal is to spread their negativity around the world, why not spread to weaker countries first? That is if their goal isn't to attack the USA because of the invasion of the ME.

Well if there are a smaller number of muslims in a country there is a smaller chance that people will become radicalized and commit acts of terror.

US and Europe are currently socially unstable because of the refugee crisis, opinions and views are divided on the Muslim community as a whole and not just extremists. It's much easier to influence vulnerable Muslims feeling attacked in the countries they're in and convince them to carry out 'lone-wolf' attacks. 

Attacks in the US and Europe also tend to be publicised much much more than they do in other parts of the world.

Additionally US and Europe are the top two global superpowers, attacks here are much more influential and destabilising than they would be elsewhere.

And finally we are much more culturally diverse, there are simply more Muslims here to target and turn into extremists than there are in other countries.

edit: The point above is sketchy at best, but the rest of my point stands. The cultural instability and increasing oppression of the Muslim communities in our countries are a major player in alienating muslims towards radicalisation.

Also, it's a shame to see how many Muslims are being radicalized with this bull. Are they really that gullible? For example, they grow up in the US for years and then suddenly decide to go against everything they ever knew? It's sad.

You see, that's an issue I have. I think that the Muslim communities need to start getting their **** together. We never hear about efforts to combat radicalization. We're just waiting for some guy or girl to join Team ISIS everyday.
