Never will I, as long as I live, be able to fathom what could fill a person with such hatred, such need to destroy lives. And on the evening prior to the coming together of a nation to prove that love wins, that we will always rise above such hate, that try as tbey may, nobody can defeat us as a human race. Once again I have nothing but disappointment and anger to convey. I pray that as little possible fatalities occur from this and I pray for all who are affected. The most important thing is that we show togetherness and be better than these horrible people. It's upsetting this is becoming the norm of our society but the only thing we can do is unite against it. The amount of times we must go through the cycle of terror, grief and recovery is unbelievably hard but we will win against terrorism. A flawed ideology cannot break down our own; one of solidarity and compassion that has no room for this kind of senseless violence. Things like this are scary- It's natural to fear what is happening, but remember it's what we choose to do with it that matters. We can't let fear make us divided or back down, it's what they want.
