Hashtags, prayers, and Facebook profile pic filters will not do squat.  I'm sorry but their government is practically letting terrorists in their country.  They cannot protect themselves.  You cannot just let anyone from any country in.  Face it, people need GUNS.  Imagine how quickly those terrorists could have been defeated if a few people had protection on them.  We do not need a wall (too expensive and pointless) but our borders need a lot more protection and TOUGHER protection.

I'm not sure why this is still an argument towards stopping terrorism. Literally every single one of Europe's terror attacks so far have been from citizens born in those countries, the refugee crisis has not directly resulted in a single terror attack yet. It's a scapegoat for politicians to attack because stopping immigration is a visible and direct action they can take to make people think they're combatting terrorism whereas the actual steps to preventing terrorism are not too visible by the public and give off the appearance the government is doing nothing (like right now) and that doesn't get votes.

The area was cleared and sealed within 10-15 minutes and armed police dealt with the situation in a very fast manner, guns wouldn't have helped the situation at all, these were fast element of surprise attacks and citizens being armed would have done nothing much. In fact, considering these people were citizens of their respective countries this would actually give THEM easier access to weapons, which is so incredibly worse.

This is why we can't just let "anyone" in. WE can't curve the blame to western countries when things like this happen. The blame should solely be on the extremists, and their taking of the words in the Quran completely literally. They believe ISLAM is the only way, and death to those who see different. It's unfair to the peaceful islamists who can't catch a break when this happens. It's also unfair to the peaceful people in European countries that suffere from these attacks. I will commend the USA at having such strict security measures in place, However, the home grown "internet" terrorists are on the rise, and we should all be cautious.

Stay vigilant and peaceful, monsters. Let love win.
