I hope the album is better than the first 2 singles (and Badlands). She needs to ditch the annoying indie voice and get a vocal coach, as well as ditch the cringe-worthy lyrics she's served in her career so far

No, this album changed my whole view of her.

listen to Alone and be snatched.

I hated Halsey until I heard HFK.

It was simple, all while being complex.

This is how you construct an album with a core narrative without straying off onto other subjects.

Everything was correlated.

Everything was fresh and lovable.

I can actually say that I'm now a Halsey fan.

100% this actually.

A month ago I would never spend money to go see her live but after listening to the album in full, i bought concert tickets to her tour.

I just can't get into her. I view her as a capitalism tumblr/hippie trend project. I don't feel like she offers anything new or that there's anything authentic about her.

Same. She comes off as very disingenuous. I'm about halfway through HFK now thought (it's better than Badlands )

Once you hear Sorry on HFK you'll realize your hopes are realized. For the ambition of Badlands, and the fact she was 19 years old, proves Badlands was an amazing record. The production alone was stellar.

The entire Badlands album is something new. No other artist on their debut album releases something that ambitious. She also worked with a producer no other pop/alt artist utilized. I respect everyone's opinions, but she backs up everything she says and believes in.
