Ooolong 4,440 Posted May 27, 2017 Share Posted May 27, 2017 I think a lot of her issues stem from not actually caring about establishing herself as credible, and more so just not wanting to flop. She took vocal lessons when she was younger, and OBVIOUSLY has the money to afford more of them now. I think she's shown potential and if she began training classically, like Gaga and Bey, she could be pretty good imo. One of the things that stands out to me is, when I watch Gaga or Bey sing, it's natural and easy, their voices are free, but Katy always seems and sounds like she's altering her voice, which will just bite her ass in the long run.
