Gaga Goddess 215
The threads on GGD are so dry, this is what we're debating? tragic

What do they have in common? They were taken off streaming. They were taken off streaming because they were huge, not the other way. Of course when an album is as hyped as 25, they can afford ditching streaming and earning 10x more. If 99% of other artists do the same, their campaign will fail. brownie 5
10 hours ago, Dorothy Gale said: But Björk even sold more than huge stars like Britney with her album? If she has a sales boost, Gaga will also have a sales boost. You're flipping these facts around in a pretty biased manner. Bjork only sold as much as Britney because Britney way underperformed last album sales wise. Bjork didn't suddenly spike in album sales, Britney dropped down in sales. Lotus also underperformed. You can't pick two flop albums and use them in a fair comparison.

It won't work for her Dorothy!!" While that may be, Björk is another artist who took her album Vulnicura off Spotify and it outsold Glory and Lotus. Pretty impressive for a niche act like Björk. Spotify needs to be dismantled, And Gaga should ditch it, her album sales and vevo views would get a nice boost. but 25 by Adele and Vulnicura by Björk are on Spotify..atleast now
LordEnigma 11,313
Your threads are always messy But streaming is the future. And we can't attribute a couple of artists exceptional success and apply it to Gaga. If Adele and Bey had released on Spotify... their album numbers probably would have still been great. Economy 49,740
Taking away the platform people use most to listen to music is stupid  I love how practicle streaming is and I already pay for my streaming service  As much as I love Gaga im not gonna go back to using itunes or another pay site just because if Gaga   If some fans like me wouldnt access her music outside youtube without spotify, the GP certaintly wouldnt!  Well i do buy the physical album but its just not practicle to use in most settings  What ur proposing is a terrible idea!!! Imo I am so grateful for streaming.
