We have metal detectors no matter where you look and police are always scattered around the property. Do they have those precautions at this venue cuz if so then I really don't know what else can be done without strip searching literally everyone 50 feet off the premises. It was at the end of the concert outside the venue where people were exiting unfortunately.
Born To Slay 10,996
http://www.tmz.com/2017/05/22/ariana-grande-bombing-hysterical-concert-cancelled-london/ Ariana Grande is inconsolable, "in hysterics" after learning at least 19 people were killed at her concert. Sources in contact with the singer tell TMZ, Ariana is devastated that young people who came for a good time are now lying dead and injured. We're told her next concert -- Thursday in London at the O2 Arena -- is now up in the air for 2 reasons. It may constitute a safety threat, but also, as one source put it, "She's in no condition to perform." As we reported, Ariana had just left the stage when a nail bomb exploded in the rotunda area near the front door as people were leaving the concert. Ariana was not hurt. She doesn't deserve this. I hope she can mentally recover quickly.

Outside the venue as people exit the arena... now that is very hard to prevent. This isn't a matter of metal detectors then, but securing a perimeter. The security surveillance and police in area would need to monitor the parking lots and perimeter of the venue during all hours of the event and do bag searches within 100 feet... what a mess if venues become like airports with their own version of TSA... Stand in the light, cast your shadow.

Katie14 4,828
This is devastating. It makes me wonder, why do inspiring people like Sonja die of cancer and people who harm others get to live? I'm just thinking, this could have just as easily been at a Gaga concert and many of us would have been there. Does anyone know the reasoning behind this?
