Auto-tune revolutionary. Gifter of the 2nd gayest song ever (right after BTW ). Class. Emoticons. Uses the toilet emoji instead of saying Donald Trump's name. Gaga covered her song on C2C. My grandma saw her like six times and said she smells like strawberries Madonna: Icon? Bad attitude. Shady comments. Outfits that are...less than flattering at times Sexually charged to a fault which was great when it was pushing boundaries but it might be a bit much for some people these days. At least two Nicki Minaj features. A few cool songs but nothing too groundbreaking imo. Calls BTW "reductive" as if she's so original Like, Madonna's completely put me off of her artistry for good with that attitude of hers and the shady comments. Not only directed at Gaga but at Michael, Janet, and I think even Prince if I remember correctly, but I also think they were in a proper back-and-forth so that can't all be pinned on her. Like, what kind of legend sees another legend and just picks a fight with them? A new-ish talent that did nothing but worship you and you claim she lifted your song because the chord progression is similar? Then you dedicate an entire segment of your tour to shading her? Then you continue for years acting as though you dislike or even hate her when she's brought up in interviews? X666 You don't get to call anyone reductive. Not when out of the two of you, only one has lost copyright suits brought against her and her name isn't "Lady Gaga". Not today, fatty ...I didn't mean to go this far but I'm tired and the gloves come off when I'm half asleep But yeah, anyone who shades Madonna for being up in years or tries to shame her for her looks is just lame and should be ignored. God knows most people that insult others' looks are either just insecure or they don't exactly have a prize winning appearance themselves. There's having an opinion and there's having a desire to hate someone. As I've demonstrated here, there's plenty of legitimate reasons to dislike the woman as I'm sure there's tons more that justify idolizing her. Just make up your own mind and stop worrying so much about what others think or say tbh Spoiler Btw, don't quote me please. I don't dislike Madge enough to actually argue a point against her and I don't think I even care enough to have an argument about her I respect her from a distance as an artist and I acknowledge her icon status but as a person...blah.
