October 2016:

The show’s Oct. 22 edition, with host Tom Hanks and musical guest Lady Gaga, averaged 8.653 million viewers, highest for an October “SNL” since Oct. 25, 2008, when an episode featuring host Jon Hamm and musical guest Coldplay averaged 9.345 million.

:awesome:

Gaga getting more viewers than Katy. :ladyhaha:

Gagz

Of course it got killer ratings. This season of SNL has really re-launched it into relevancy with all of the political satire they've been doing. It was also the final episode for two longtime cast members..

Why would anyone want to buy her music after that tragic mess of a performance :duck:

Over.

im sorry but imo (and every other one i've heard outside ggd) she's putting out the best stuff she ever has. sure, the ba performance was a little boring. but the swish swish performance is literally everywhere and people are loving it and the song itself. so y'all can seethe.

I think the 14,000 people who retweeted this would beg to differ with you. :poot:

I'm sure her fans will boast about this, but does anyone actually believe that she was the one that brought these ratings in?

Rabbit Heart

Even this can't help her, and judging by how bad the performances were it can only do the opposite :x US is over her, even Gaga struggled to get attention and she did that with her talent and a great song (Million Reasons), yes SB helped but it reached #1 after SNL before that! Hopefully she'll do some promo for The Cure to boost it up a bit.

Say it louder. I think there are people who didn't hear this.

I'm sure fans watched her but Baldwin as Trump and two cast members, Vanessa Bayer and Bobby Moynihan leaving the show probably brought in more ratings.

What planet are you on :air:

media, radio DJs, s the entire the entirety of twitter are slaughtering her new material :sharon:

The YouTube comments, dislike ratio, and even comments on her Facebook says it all.

and if that wasn't indicative enough, let's try and discuss the fact that a main pop girl couldn't get her two most recent releases into the top 10 of the iTunes chart. Not even on frontloaded fan sales. Meanwhile Camila got up to #5 :air:

Also I hope you really miss me with that "her best stuff ever" ****. The Teenage Dream era was one of the best eras of this decade lemme not hear you comparing this mediocre drivel to an album aa solid as that :neyde:
