Okay for all those saying her friend just died. That must be so hard for her and obviously that means there will for sure be no promo for it from this point on but I think the poster was talking about the last month and a half that she could have promoted it. I understand if she is too busy but in that case she should have released it end of Junish after she's done filming and the tour would be more or less finalized. Another great song wasted. Queen of messing up her chances

Disappointed, but I expected it. The song had a good chart run considering it didn't benefit from any help (except iTunes discounts and the two live performances), and should help her to find the right way to follow for the next era.

I hate this ASIB remake for existing.

Absolutly not, and tbh I dont want her to promote The Cure. Its doing great as it is and Gaga is under emotional pressure and stress right now with ASIB and Sonja's passing

It's not an excuse. When filming a major motion picture, actors are under contracts. There are time schedules and hundreds of people behind every minute of film. Coachella had to be worked in ahead of time and the location was even used for some of the filming. Gaga is committed to this movie first and foremost. Planning for promo and performances takes a great deal of time...much more than fifteen minutes. She doesn't want to do it because she is honoring her commitment...taking her role seriously. That's the very opposite of not "giving a ****".

Why are you all acting like this? The Cure isn't flopping it hasn't left the top 50 spotify since it was released, and is slowly rising in every chart, re peaking or peaking higher. If she doesn't promote the song, that is ok, TC don't need promotion and will become a hit by itself just like it is doing.

You do not speak for "we". You speak for YOU. Some of us are happy with Gaga and enjoy watching her talents in various areas. That means that many are open minded and enjoy going along for the ride...wherever that takes us. It's simply a different way of enjoying your favorite artist. If you need something different, you could always go find the artist who can make you happy everyday of every year!

Y'all can continue not paying attention to the things Gaga says, but most people here know that Gaga writes about her life and she wouldn't  have written a song called The Cure if she didn't know in her heart that there are millions of people out there who need a cure.

I think it was the song Gaga wrote for Sonja's wedding. I could be way off, but the lyrics certainly fit.

Anyway, even before realizing that The Cure is about Sonja, I kind of knew that it wasn't going to be a normal single. She released it because she felt like she needed to release it. She has tons of things going on right now and, unlike gay guys on the internet, she doesn't obsess over promoting or charting at #1. She's been over that **** since 2014. Y'all sit on GGD all day, but still manage to not pay any ****ing attention.
