Are you disappointed Gaga is not promoting The Cure?

I'm not. I've been a huge supporter of Gags since the ARTPOP era and the things she said back then are so true. The Cure is just underwhelming in my opinion it lacks Gaganess and uniqueness. + If a song it's not a hit when it's included in Spotifys most followed playlist then I don't think a TV perfomance would change that. So stop saying she needs to promote a song to make it popular. That's so 2011

She's filming a freaking movie where she's the main actor and her best friend just died. She's one of the most hardworking women in the industry.

Well tbh Katy always worked for the charts and we see now the result. She didn't build a big fanbase while Gaga build her legacy. And big hits alone doesn't define a music career....

I am not talking about charts, I'm talking about my old Gaga, ambitious, full of bravery and empowerment, now all the time she's crying and she's afraid of everything. I am talking about her attitude.

And of course, the charts are important even if she or some say no, they are important, because if Gaga does not sell, Interscope will not promote her.

Here's to our brand new start, I won't be waiting for nothing. I'll mend the broken parts. Pick up the pieces,

The rest of your post is even more random and incorrect so I wouldn't even bother answering to that

How is it random? She´s filming the movie and if the song is just a generic love song or just for fun, that means it wasn´t to chart.

Don´t bother quoting, cause i´m not answering you anymore.

She was, now 2017 she is not the most hardworking women in the industry.

The songs charted quite well considering. I don't think it's wise for her to promote the **** out of everything she sends out to radio. She's already suffered from over-exposure.

I'm sure she'll put out a MV for TC soon. She's busy and juggling quite a lot at the moment.

REALITY

First of all, I don't understand why you guys are expecting such huge promo for the song. 1) We're still in the Joanne era—we still have the tour! 2) It's not like there's an EP or album coming out 3) She's filming a movie. 4) Sonja's just passed away, and I'm sure the last few months weren't easy on anyone.

I'm not disappointed by this in the slightest because there are legitimate reasons for her not to heavily promote the song. Some of y'all are too busy focused with the "charts" and "having the music and the bling" and sh*t like that that you entirely forgot that she's released new music in the first place! None of us were expecting The Cure, and now that we have it y'all are like "That's cute, but where's the promo?!"

Plus, at a time like this, I'm sure promoting the song is the last thing she has on her mind.

Are we forgetting what she's done for us these past few months or is it just me? Let's see, she jumped off a rooftop for us, sang all her old hits for us (twice), gave us a new pop single, and now her best friend is dead.

I mean, she deserves this more than ever. I'm so proud of her and so happy for her with all the success she's had. If she chooses not to promote herself anymore, I'll always be there for her regardless. Her choosing not to partake in commercialism is another step towards becoming artistically relevant and less of a product, which I believe has been her goal ever since ARTPOP.

Don't undermine Gaga's work. She's an incredibly talented woman and works her ass of everyday. She's still one of the hardest working women in the industry.

2 days ago. The song has been out for a month.

Still doesn't magically remove her filming. She already put extra effort putting out a song in between the Superbowl and Coachella--two of the biggest stages in the US

Yes, I'm already tired. Since 2013 she just disappoints us more and more. She is killing her own music career. Her light went out so quickly. The great times were from 2008 to 2013. :(

for me 2009 - May 2011

She still has bravery and is still very much full of empowerment. Just because she's a little more passive now doesn't mean she doesn't have that same fire. Where is the "crying and being afraid of everything"? Because if anything, I see a more matured Gaga.

OH SHUT UP. Having that attitude it's what lead her to depression and drugs. Have you ever heard about a little song called Dope?

It says a lot about you that you think being the top artist is more important than her mental health. You don't deserve Gaga tbh.

Gaga is one of Interscope main artists she just did the Superbowl and she's going on a SELL OUT TOUR. Rihanna can have thousands of #1s but she couls never achieve that, nor the Chainsmokers or whatever rapper that is leading the Bb100 rn.

Why are you still on the forum then? You only talk sh*t about her!

Also, the only positive thing I saw you say was about Katy Perry, and that says a lot.

And here you are, sitting on your ass talking about an artist that doesn't even know who you are, complaining that she isn't one of the most hardworking women in the industry anymore.  I don't even know who you are as a person but it seems as if you judge her for who she is. Gaga isn't as “strong" as she was before? Well, if you've seen some of her recent interviews you can infer how much of a gimmick that is and what she's overcome throughout these years and it's unjustified for someone like you to call her out for it.
