Named Gaga•UO•Joanne, the line includes graphic tees, a tote, a hat, a bomber, and a hoodie. They will all be made in partnership with Bravado, following in the footsteps of Justin Bieber and The Weeknd’s recent merchandise. Men’s and women’s apparel will go on sale at 5pm on the 19th in all US-based Urban Outfitters, while merchandise hits UO.com on May 22nd. In addition, there will be a pink version of the Joanne vinyl arriving May 19. With only 2,000 limited-edition copies available, you better queue up early. Gaga’s choice of partnering with Urban Outfitters makes sense; Accessible to fans of all ages, UO can handle orders of large quantities and deal with sell-outs. The launch will be celebrated at the Herald Square and Melrose Urban Outfitters, in New York and L.A., respectively. Attendees will have the opportunity to win Gaga tickets and signed merch from 5-7 at both stores. The new drop follows on the heels of Lady Gaga's February lookbook, which was styled and photographed by Synchrodogs in the vein of high fashion shoots. That "Merchandise Capsule Collection" appears to be a little different than the UO looks released thus far, so we'll have to wait and see what is available as she prepares to tour. Team, you could've chose any other shop and actually release new joanne stuff. This feels a little bit unnecessary and this promo is not even trying.
