All in all the song is burned out at this point. It was the best decision right after MR and the SB hype but now not at all... On the other hand Joanne and Angel Down are ballads which means they can be promoted easier with radio interviews and during the Tour and it is easier to have a video for them + they are in less of a need of a video than a dance song. Gaga also already had success with one ballad this era which will ready the ground. Angel Down is also a very relevant song to 2017 when it comes to the meaning of the song. DIC is a fan favorite (though the ballads are imo a better choice). I don't see anything else becoming a single over these 3. Here for Angel Down even though i don't think it's gonna work on this season. Maybe in the fall. I know Gaga is a DIY kind of a girl now but come on, a good music video without her or with limited featuring is better than no video at all. How in the world could Capitol afford all the payola for CTTR and still fund a high budget second single video when Interscope can't shell out a dime on anything when they're raking in money from Gaga, Selena, Maroon 5, etc?
