But he has sold more than the Album that blocked him for #1. He has the third best selling album of 2016 in the U.S. and he is still charting top ten on the Bb200. It seems Ed's album has slowed so much in pure sales that it won't even catch up to the pure sales of 24k Magic. Also looking at all the hype Ed had with his first single and the craziness that was his radio airplay, it puts into perspective how well Joanne did in comparison. Joanne really is a pure sales hit album.
