Actually you have no idea what you're talking about. TC would've done far better without them. If PI hadn't been associated with the name Lady Gaga, it wouldn't have charted at all maybe. Besides this, again, I think you have no idea. When TC was released, there were already a lot of people here, among the fans, who started throwing shade to PI and Joanne.

It's meh for now. Apparently had there not been a tour bundle thing she might have not topped the BB200 which is insane for an artist of her caliber. However Rih has taught us all that longevity is the key. By the end of the album cycle I'm sure it will be deemed a success but for now it's looking pretty bad.

Without the tour bundle she still would have debuted above Lady Antebellum. There's like a huge margin between them isn't there? So she still would have debuted at #1.

Actually no. She is below them on sales and SPS (real time). She is only above them by a large margin because tour bundles were factored in from the get go so they created that big gap. It's pretty shocking tbh.

If you need an artist who is doing pop music, and only pop music, and spitting out videos...there are plenty of pop girls doing just that. Gaga is smart enough to not confine herself to just one form of art...especially when she has the talent and ability to explore many options. 

Madonna has done all those things, except the TV show but we can swap that out for 3 plays on Broadway. And she never put out a blahhh video or stopped promoting an album.

If I remember correctly Madonna took time out to do those projects. She has had a lot of "blahh" videos recently (I don't know what you consider "blahh", but Get Together, Miles Away, Give it to me, Turn up the radio are at least at the same level of thought of Million Reasons for me), even had singles with no music videos (Masterpiece, Revolver, and many others before) and apart from tours, has barely promoted her last albums, other than few performances in major shows. Since the 90s, she has been releasing a major project every 2 to 4 years.

Compared to that, Gaga did all of what Whispering mentioned in no more than 3 years.  if we give some thought, except for 2010, 2012 and 2015, she has released an album every year since she started  (2008-2009-2011-2013-2014-2016), and I'm pretty sure she has done more tour dates than any other female popstar in the same time-span. She's the only artist that has performed non-stop at the Oscars (2015-2016), the Superbowl (2016-2017) and the Grammys (2015-2016-2017) for the last three years. And that's a bit of it just to put things in perspective. It's not like she's been seating on a bench all this time, her schedule is crazy if you think about how much effort, thought and rehearsals are needed backstage to be successful at all of that.

The person clearly meant Madonna in her prime (1983-2006). She didn't slow down in terms of quantity and quality of output until 25+ years into her career...

With that being said, Gaga is still by far the most hardworking pop girl in recent times. Joanne was a heavily promoted album from October to January, she did SB in February, then Coachella and went straight into shooting the movie while preparing for her tour which is about to start and once she's done with the tour she will begin the ASIB promo campaign with a soundtrack album. That's 3 years of non-stop working for christ's sake. Some people here are being way too demanding.

Also, If you read the conversation, you would see we were discussing current pop stars and their output. We weren't discussing artists from decades ago. 

I thought everyone was to avoid this section because of the "Katy hate". Seems to me there is mostly Gaga criticism in here and very little of what you are claiming in another thread.
