Randomly throwing out a pop track just to appease fans but not doing anything with it is absolutely pointless. I think TC is not just for fans but to get more attention from the GP. Nothing from Joanne would have done that. TC is much more simple and easy to digest at first listen. Still so many people doubt about giving her a chance because she's Lady Gaga, MR was the right move for radio but she needs to grow on streaming platforms now and TC is helping her with that first.

Besides she seem to like Joanne more than some of her past work so I don't think she's gonna abandon the album just like that.

I do think her fire has been slowly burning out but only for executing an era. She is still extremely passionate about the concept of art in general and is now focusing on acting and other artistic ventures that may not be fun for us music loving Gaga fans but we have to let her do her thing. 

She is an extremely chaotic person (that I will agree with you) and before it was better managed but now she has surrounded herself with ppl who make her happy but at the cost of letting all that chaos effect her artistry and her execution. 

I will never however question why Gaga would release music in general though. She still ADORES making music. I just think she has lost the spark for promoting it, making amazing visuals (or visuals at all..I mean 5 pop mvs in 5 years is sort of insane) but her spark for music is always there and we shouldn't let her lack of commitment to her pop eras effect our craving for Gaga music.

This! ()If you guys expect to see TF and BTW size promotional campaigns again, you will wait forever. During TF Gaga was a kid and she also was unknown, she had to fight to climb to fame step by step. During BTW she did a massive campaign that I've never seen before when it comes to promotion, from noone ever. It almost cost her her well-being, her health and her career. It definitely costed her the unorthodox ending of the most important Tour of her career (and her favorite part as well, Gaga has always belonged on stage).

Now she is 30, with completely different needs and goals. And still everytime when she is on the studio or on stage she gives her everything, not for us but for her, because that's what she aways wanted. And of course she doesn't care to promote that much anymore, she has grown up, she has experienced failure and she has fought with her demons. 

You can't expect her to be a music producing machine though, she is an artist and not a jukebox.

I absolutely hope you guys are right. I could not imagine going through another extremely short album cycle again. I love artists who stand by their album and respect the concept of an "era". Cutting the Joanne era this short would be insane. It still has so much to give.

I know Gaga's story and career trajectory! what you said is basically what I explained in my comment though? As you can see if you re read my post I'm explaining how she definitely won't be promoting the same way anymore and we need to accept that lol. Her love for her art is still there but promoting, visuals and stuff will 100% slow down as it has for a while now.

Pop eras and album cycles are not the same anymore. Gaga is not the only one doing this. Literally all the girls are like over it.

Yes I agree but...we've got to admit that no other female popstar has released this little mvs in 5/6 years and has cut two consecutive eras this short. Only Adele does it.

Rih only films a few mvs for her own albums but she features in so many other songs and she does release more singles for her albums even if they do not have visuals (obviously because she can afford to do it as radio will play anything Rih related most of the time). 

Apart for that no one else does it the way Gaga does it.  

Personally though the music satisfies me. But I will not lie and say I am satisfied with the lack of visuals and singles. Both AP and Joanne have been cut super short. I hope she gives Joanne a bit more attention and does give it a second wind like some members said she might.

Well if you think of it Gaga filmed 3 videos for this Era and eventhough the PI video seems simplistic, it's not a simple video to make. Neither was John Wayne, only the MR video is more low budget because it didn't need the high budget but it's not like Rihanna's Stay for example has a more expensive video.

I'm not really talking about the quality of her visuals or circumstances that may have led her to not release singles and music videos. I'm more so just talking about the number of videos. Like I agree again with what your saying lol but we are simply talking about the amount of visuals and singles. No other female pop star films so little mvs and releases as few singles as Gaga has in the past 5/6 years (apart for Adele of course).

I do agree that she could release more (especially for ARTPOP) but Gaga always decides to have many side projects, back the C2C, now ASIB.

And I would also prefer more Pop and less side projects but it's her career, not mine.
