WELL, we need to add that ARTPOP still peaked high on as much charts as Bangerz or Prism AND it didn't even sold much less than those despite not having a #1 hit. So not comparable at all tbh. and NO it doesn't seem she sold much because the music industry was still in a good phase. ARTPOP indeed was an hit album.
