To things into perspective, here is some recent female releases and their numbers: 1. Lemonade - 168k 2. Dangerous Woman - 46k 3. ANTI - 42k 4. Joanne - 31k 5. A Seat At The Table - 26k 6. 7/27 - 25k 7. Glory - 23k 8. Thank You - 23k 9. This Is Acting - 13k Witness is projected to do ~25k according to HDD. On the other hand Joanne and Angel Down are ballads which means they can be promoted easier with radio interviews and during the Tour and it is easier to have a video for them + they are in less of a need of a video than a dance song. Gaga also already had success with one ballad this era which will ready the ground. Angel Down is also a very relevant song to 2017 when it comes to the meaning of the song. DIC is a fan favorite. I don't see anything else becoming a single over these 3. I agree with you about ayo I still think it could be a cute top 20 hit but I feel like they waited to long for it to be any bigger than that Dic could be a hit if it had like a remix or feature I literally don't see it doing anything if they just release the original version all the fans have bought it so it will be no where to be found on itunes and radios as always will be hesitate to play it Joanne could work it's cute and simple and it was already charting high on us iTunes during the dive bar commercial runs I doubt it will do anything like mr did but I could see like a top 40 or 20 I don't think angel down or anything else off of Joanne could be a "hit" just because what we have seen so far with what radios do to her and her streaming numbers unless they don't care if it's a hit or not then just release whatever they want Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
