The real reason that TC has been wasted is obviously because Gaga doesn't have time to promote it to the slightest and the fact that she lost such a close person of hers made her time even less. She is a super strong tour seller, and she is a good album seller as well, so there is really no need to do it, unless her team is super eager for those certifications, which honestly in the streaming era represent nothing. They are inflated and do not represent the real situation, it just sounds good when you say ' off of the PLATINUM selling album ' or whatever.. The song was a lead single and it was not doing well and they had MR which was showing very strong signs of success. If PI was a 3rd single I would agree with you that they abandoned it early but considering that it was a lead single, trying to push a song that is not doing well commercially can be suicide for the Era. As for PI there is a strong possibility that they wanted to release a first single that woudl serve as a buzz single and ready the ground for a second single with the SB that would get the full promo of the lead.
