I guess POP radio abandoned TC, which is not good at all.. I don't think we can do much with only HAC, which is still pretty much reserved..

Guys we can label Witness a disaster all w want but at the end of the day the album is likely to go platinum when the era is all said and done in the US. Katy is not the type to drop an era simply because it has underperformed in its first few months. She will definitely keep releasing MVs, promote on tv etc until those figures accumulate and she gets that US platinum record. RIAA counts youtube streams and though her Witness videography hasn't been getting the same streams as her older hits it will still be enough to get her that RIAA certification. So at the end of the day the Witness era will be a success (to an extent).

Don't get me wrong, I kinda love Katy this era, and I am listening to her music more than ever. And the era might be a 'success' based on RIAA certifications, but the era definitely will NOT be a success if you ask her label/management.

They are still investing HARD into her, and they expect a return, and by these predictions, this just won't be enough. The only thing that could 'save her' is the tour, which I hope will sell well in the end

I see what you mean. The investment by the label on this project indicated that they really wanted this to smash hard. However I feel like the certifications and stuff will mask the way this album is truly performing and years from now this era will seem like a success on paper (which is a good way to handle an under performing era tbh).

But... people are just describing how it's performing right now, at present time, which is badly. No one think about da future ??? And why ???

Keep promoting is not guarantee of success, she's promoting, she had already promoted, and for now she's doing badly.

If the next single don't connect with the GP she can release 20 music videos, that the album won't stick. Maybe is even too late by now.
