To see homophobia as unrelated to/separate from the other types of abuses humans inflict on all sentient beings is to really miss the root cause of all the senseless violence in this world.

BTW - As an Asian person myself from a country that continues to eat dogs and consume a mostly-meat diet, I'm glad whenever people bring up "Asians eat dog" racist trope to me so I can then show them the footages of slaughterhouses in America, UK and Canada, and introduce people to the concept of Carnism. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnism

I'm glad you're spreading awareness but still doesn't change the fact that you're being nonsensical here. By bringing up slaughter house in the US and letting that anti-Asian racism slide away, you're not helping anything to stop that racist stereotypes toward Asians because Non-Asian Americans are not stereotyped with the eating dog tropes. You need to challenge racist to prevent racism. Also I could give 2 **** if you're Asian when you don't have any SMs to prove it. I'm Asian and I wasn't using it as a shield to ignore racism.

all i did was pointing out the link between a country that in 2017 allows gay people to be punished for being who they are as the same country where the most horrific violent acts are performed on animals recognized as family members to a lot of us -

do you mean that just posting that fact is racist?

is your method in fighting racism reliant on denying the facts about what's happening in our Asian countries?

It's funny that so many people here want religion to be banned, yet protest Trump and all the conservative assholes who think it's okay to ban people who are of different religions.

First, before you start to quote me, I'm not defending religion, none whatsoever, and this sentencing is beyond wrong. However, I find it completely hypocritical that this "religion needs to go" attitude is coming out of the same mouths of people that detest Trump because he's banning people of different religions.
