To every person who are calling this shtick “embarrassing" you all didn't say anything when Harry Styles did this with his debut album and other artists have done the same. 

It is just another business tactic and some people are forgetting that aspect of the music industry. Everyone who is interesting in attending the tour is most likely interested in buying the album anyways.

Idk why people are being so shady about it but I guess that's what stans do best :sweat: Obviously she knows she's underperforming this era but that doesn't make what she's doing desperate imo. Giving out the album with every tour ticket is just a really good marketing strategy and definitely has been done many times before by other artists, so it's kinda dumb to sh*t on Katy for it

Is it for free tho? Or is it an add on? So a discounted album with a ticket?

If it's free it won't count towards anything and her team isn't that stupid especially if she wants that number 1

I get why she did it but I think it shows how unconfident her label are. Also why the **** is she doing an album release week of promo 3 weeks before the album is out?!?!
