OP is updated with the semi-finals :tony:

Except for the semi-finalists it was also decided that Spain, UK and Portugal will vote in the 1st semi-final while France, Germany and Italy will vote in the 2nd.

When all countries have chosen their entries the broadcaster RTP will sit down and decide the running order, based on which half the countries were drawn into. This usually happens around March/April.

The second Eurovision entry has been decided. France chose "Mercy" by Madame Monsieur.

I'm disappointed in the French people tbh. They should've gone for the jury favorite Lisandro Cuxi instead :neyde:

It's a beautiful song and the chorus is quite catchy. Lisandro Cuxi's song was pure trash imo. I'd rather see my country lose with Mercy than win with the generic Eva. :oprah:

Now I hope Yulia gets a song that slays! :excited2:

And while we're at it..

I am also a bit disappointed in France, I liked Emmy's entry a lot... Good luck I guess :giggle:

Aaaand, the UK songs are a bit disappointing, the only one that had potential gets ruined by a lot of annoying noises, wow

They are cute, but it's not the best Spain has sent. I'm just gonna leave it at that because I don't want to sound mean :green:

If you have some extra cash laying around you can now bid on the shoes the Dutch rock star Anouk wore in Eurovision. She has put them up for auction for the benefit of patients who suffer from sickle-cell disease.

Anouk represented The Netherlands back in 2013 in Malmö with the great song "Birds" and took the country to the grand final for the first time since 2004 and ended up on 9th place.

It's only three days left until the Swedish selection Melodifestivalen begins! If the same concept is being followed we will get to watch a snippet of the rehearsals of the first seven songs tomorrow :tony:

Celebrating with a little throwback with our Eurovision favorite with the song that gave its name to Lynda Woodruffs breasts :woohoo:
