However, app voting will make the same mess - there will be a minor difference between the first and the last place, especially top 3. Therefore, all they have done are cosmetic changes. However, absence of LED screens might do wonders for your entry, now you just have to make a good staging, because this is basic and forgettable. Also, I couldn't care less about the guitar guy.
