Hey people,

I love GGD's taste of music. I seek your advice and here it goes:

I really look for a good rapper. I have some criteria and if you know one according to those please enlighten: (thanks in advance)

1. songs should not be about drugs(this has an exception though)  clubbing etc... the lyrics should be passionate (perfectly fine with sex and love but i am expecting something deep)

2. good and clear pronunciation so no to kendrick lamar ( sorry for the lamartians)

3. this is not a must but  i am expecting the backing track to be more artsy at least a little complex.

4. the voice should be strong like with accents and sharpenings etc...

5. shadiness always wins

yes i love eminem

There's this rapper called Lady Gaga.

1. Song is about her stardom, her life as an international superstar who sells out areanas, her bank account having too much money, etc.

2. Clear pronunciation. She's Italian-American.

3. The backing track is produced by DJWS, it's dope.

4. She has a b*tchy accent.

5. This song invented shadiness.

You chew beef, I wear meat.

I'm gettin' fat, and so is my bank.

I'm on a sold-out world tour, b*tch.

Walk b*tch you ain't LADY GAGA.

Cupcakke, tbh.

So far, I haven't heard a song about drugs from her.

Yes, some of her songs are hypersexual, like extremely hypersexual, and sometimes comedic in a good way, but she spits well and her flow is amazing, and she has clear pronunciation.

Aside from the sexual songs, she has some deep ones as well.

I also highly suggest listening to her songs LGBT, Barcodes, and 33rd.

Maybe you will like Chance The Rapper. Or A Tribe Called Quest. I'm surprised that you said no to Kendrick, I find him perfectly easy to understand and he's the best out there at the moment.

I know a lot of people have pre-conceived thoughts about Kanye West from particular songs or his public image, but if you haven't gotten into his albums I would thoroughly recommend it. I'd say his first five in particular absolutely fit your criteria. Especially MBDTF. Yeezus is a great album but I wouldn't call it 'inspiring', at least in the sense that you're talking about.

@loathereality try this !!!

lyrics :

Spoiler

[Verse 1]
Y'all gon have to do better
I can't believe what I'm seeing
All this bullshit going on
The industry is deceiving
All the masses
Pitching rappers as these independent grinds
Meanwhile there's been a label right behind them the whole time
Fake **** call it out
You were plugged before your first song
I was puttin in work
You were getting worked on
Yo fans are fickle
Cuz your come up is a mystery
My fans gon stick with me
Cuz me and them got history
Longer than 2 songs
You don't know how to build
You tried to start at the roof ah
You won't be here for too long
I don't **** with crews unless you're the one who put the crew on
The rest of y'all got buzz because he put you on a few songs
Ooo umm did that strike a nerve
If the shoe fits then wear it
Either way I know the truth imma share it
See these rappers sign deals
Labels know what they're doing
They tell the rapper don't announce it
So the people keep rooting

[Hook]
Try to keep me on the hush but i do not give a ****
This is Russ uncut ill expose you
You ain't really seen **** just wait till im on
Then its on gotta lot i gotta show you
Why you gotta lie
I'll bring it to the light
Gotta expose fake ****
I put in too much time

[Verse 2]
I'm comin thru exposing fake ****
God can't save you
Youre a boss?
You gotta boss
And that boss rapes you
Barely pays you
But you cool with it
You're a soldier unaware that you're a lieutenant
I gotta gripe with the media
All of y'all are wanna be's
Producers and rappers
Down for sodomy
**** taking
Cuz the industry tells you to
It's ****ed up I had a standard that I held you to
I'll name names if you provoke me
So shut your ****ing mouth
My platform is way bigger
Than the ones that turned me down
Bunch of grown men and women
Talkin bout grown men and women for a livin
Man you gotta be kidding
Call me bitter
Call me jealous
Call me this
Call me that
This is 10 years grinding what the **** you call that
Made the beats wrote the songs sang the hooks
And I mixed it
Everybody's gotta switch and y'all just flipped it

[Hook]
Try to keep me on the hush but i do not give a ****
This is Russ uncut ill expose you
You ain't really seen **** just wait till im on
Then its on gotta lot i gotta show you
Why you gotta lie
I'll bring it to the light
Gotta expose fake ****
I put in too much time

[Verse 3]
You're an industry artist
I'm an artist in the industry
Me myself and I that's the holy ****ing trinity
I partnered with Columbia
Partnered is the key word
We split the profits 50/50
Better do your research
Came in with my own fanbase
Sold out tours around the world before the handshakes
You see I play the game well
You let the game play you
You don't know your own power
You think the label saved you
Now subconsciously you owe them
You're submissive with your actions
Then you flop flop flop
And you wonder what happened
Couple things
You dropped one song and signed a deal
You have less than 10 songs out
You're not real
So the song became bigger than the artist
People know the song but they don't know the artist
Not enough songs to become their favorite artist
Not enough songs to be a headline artist
I could do a week long set if I performed my whole catalogue
Every single song the crowds sing and rap along
**** a summer I'm a decade rapper
You're here now I'll be here a decade after
I put out 11 albums
Produced by Russ
Mixed mastered engineered written by Russ
I put out 11 albums
Produced by Russ
Mixed mastered engineered written by Russ

[Hook]
Try to keep me on the hush but i do not give a ****
This is Russ uncut ill expose you
You ain't really seen **** just wait till im on
Then its on gotta lot i gotta show you
Why you gotta lie
I'll bring it to the light
Gotta expose fake ****
I put in too much time

1. the song is not not be about drugs clubbing etc... it's about music industry , rappers and his path through lusic

2. good and clear pronounciation

3. the chorus is very  old school "eminemish" the backing track is simple and catchy (he produces and writes his own songs since a long time)

4. the voice is strong and changes from verses to chorus to post chorus

yes i love eminem too !

my issue with kendrick is, i think i wrongly stated up there, his tone. I really prefer a nice speaking tone of voice. His tone smells puberty :( i do not like that feeling

I was just trying to be clear, not aiming for insult. We may not agree with eachother in this :) This is just my personal opinion

It gets a lot of controversy/hate depending on who you ask, but try The Life of Pablo by Kanye. I think it's really different to a lot of stuff other rappers have released + it does have some deeper meaning in places.

Tinie Tempah is my fave but probably not what you're looking for.

His first album is like a Gaga album tbh.
