Posting threads like this creates discussion on our culture and behavior, which often leads us to be more thoughtful, caring, and compassionate individuals. Assault is wrong, trying to downplay it to make another wrong seem worse is quite wrong and disgusting. To suggest this should never have been posted is also wrong. Should those who videotaped Dr. Dao getting assaulted never have posted or reposted? Discussion is important as it shapes our culture. A human being, no less elderly woman, entered a party to ask to lower the volume. Where most would be intimidated by a group of teens, she went there to have a respectful conversation and was mocked, violated and assaulted. It was wrong. End thread there. Sorry you got beat up so much @Modern Ecstacy, while those same people chastising you chose to defend the behavior in that video. Truly disgusting.
