My whole philosophy is say what you want about me but if you go after my friends/family, it's ****ing game on. I love you monsters. Like all they know is Poker Face and make assumptions. It's especially frustrating when people call her a weirdo because it's rude and minimizes her impact. Unfortunately, she has always been polarizing. But I just choose to look at it as that is why her fans are super smart and creative. They get it! (In a weird confused way) I said: "You know, Lady Gaga isn't just Poker Face" He: "Yeah yeah, I know that song... ma ma ma maa, pa pa pa pokerface" "Yes, she isn't just that" He: "Daisy can sing better than... I can sing better than her!" OH MY GOD, YOU KNOW NOTHING! I SEND YOU ALL THE LINKS! CONVERSATION CLOSED! Luckily, the actual person I started to speak with, was really impressed and thinks she's cool. And she isn't a Little Monster from what I know Happened not only one time... StrawberryBlond 14,866 Posted May 9, 2017 Share Posted May 9, 2017 I honestly don't hear anyone say anything bad about her anymore except for annoying little twits in the online pop sphere who don't like the fact that Gaga's having success over their fave. In the early days, it felt like I was always defending her against those who thought that she was a man or couldn't sing or didn't write her own music or copied everyone. But everything I hear about her from people in the real world now is positive, so there's no longer any need to defend. I think it's amazing how she came back from the fallout that was BTW and the downfall that was AP to this, where most people think she's talented and deserves success. Making that jazz album and doing that Sound of Music medley really were 2 of the best choices she's ever made in her entire career. It proved to everyone that she wasn't all about creating trendy music for the charts, that she could actually sing, was a true artist and that she was the real deal. Add in her amazing SB performance and people saw that when it came to live singing, dancing and overall performance ability that she could give Beyonce a run for her money. The fact she could come back after all that proves that she wasn't the one-hit wonder or flash in the pan like some people claimed she was. Yeah, I get "the look" from people when I say that I am a huge Gaga fan. But honestly, they just don't know how good she is. To be honest though, I feel like these sorts of reactions come from younger people.
