Not really. Most songs right now have melodies like lullabies. They have electronic production but are not dance tracks. EDM peaked in 2011-2013.

I agree with both of you.

The EDM of Calvin/David(you know like the originals who first started becoming successful in 2009/2010/2011) isn't going anywhere. They can't seem to get hits this year. 

 

They're not the in vogue Chainsmoker sounding EDM artists that are popular now. When i listen to their new songs they sound kinda dated. 

I happen to like both of them over the chainsmokers, but this is the industry i guess
