OBEY 57,109
On monday : So a women, men and daughter were in their car going to help people they knew because they were victim of the floods and then a river next to the road swallowed up the car. The car fell into the river and the family climbed to the top of the car but then the water was too high and they all got hit by the water. the woman successfully got to the ground and called the authorities but the man and the daughter were still missing in the water. They found the man's body few hours later (monday night) but the little girl (2 years old :'( ) is still missing https://www.meteomedia.com/nouvelles/articles/les-inondations-a-lorigine-dune-tragedie/82117/

LaLuna 12,732
This is so tragic... The situation is pretty bad. I'm in Sherbrooke, Quebec and I'm surprised there are no floods here, we've had many of them in the past. I just hope things go back to normal soon for people in the affected areas. Korok 4,272
The water is rising really quickly near my house too. I used to live behind a large field of grass but now it's a damn lake . Edit: I'm from the North Shore
toewsy 1,842
I'm in Pierrefonds and it's been straight up surreal seeing the entire borough underwater like this. My immediate area's been fine, but I've been helping build walls this past week and it just gets worse and worse. Stay safe gworlz
RAMROD 117,004
Wait, there's floods in Canada? Is that from rains or melting snow? I believe its more snowy in Quebec right? Considering there is a blue belt around Quebec, a lot of the excess water overflowed into the periphery. There's been a lot of school closures and I think the province is currently in a "state of emergency".

That is terrible, natural disasters are so grand and scary and we as people can only do very little. Hope there are help coming around such as foods, medications, and warm clothing.
