I can't believe there is someone more pretentious than Gaga and Kanye. At least their lyrics DO match somewhat to their album's message (ARTPOP, Born This Way, Graduation, etc.). How the hell is Bon Apetit related to anything of what she's saying.

She went through  a divorce and wrote more mature songs on  Prism about the breakup and coming through to a brighter place and what it meant to her and falling in love again.  I remember she said she thought it would be a darker album when she started out because it's how she felt, but it changed to more positivity and how she chose to come out of the divorce, hence the title "Prism."  She was already evolving with songs on Prism as a divorced woman.  I see it all as natural progression, being in your 30s now.  

But I laugh when all these artists say they wrote 40 songs, yet can't even get 13 brilliant songs out of the bunch.  I'm not dissing on her.  I think that about all of the singer/songwriters/bands that brag about the  massive amount of songs they wrote, and still there's filler on the final album.
