duckworth 2,955
What if Gaga released ARTPOP first before Born This Way? I know it's very random but maybe, the GP would appreciate ARTPOP more if it was released on a time when everyone's so high with EDM. Would ARTPOP be more appreciated? Will it be more successful? Discuss.
Bradley 59,053
After The Fame Monster, anything could become a hit. The anticipation for new Lady Gaga music was high af. Aura, Applause, Sexxx Dreams, G.U.Y., any song would've become a hit regardless of which being chosen as a single. She also spent a lot of time on promotion, something G.U.Y., The Cure and Perfect Illusion don't have.

Well if the singles (Born This Way and Judas) were promoted like Applause and Do What U Want were, I don't see any reason to flop. G.U.Y. only flopped because Gaga ignored it, it actually had great potential.
JiU 2,194
Applause would debut at #1, cause the Gaga factor was something special at that time. DWUW would've also probably made it to top 10, because unlike Judas, it was liked by the GP. From what I've heard not many non-fans like the song (I might be completely wrong lol) EDIT: Judas did make it to top 10 too, but it had so little longevity it didn't even manage year-end, GP did injustice to the masterpiece Then the next singles would probably be Gypsy, G.U.Y. and Venus in no particular order, with all of them doing pretty well maybe except for the last single. idk, but I think if ARTPOP was released at the time when her managing wasn't all over the place the album would be super well received. ARTPOP was soo under appreciated by the GP. It deserves to be known and loved.
