Will KP4 be surprised released?

She doesn't have a single right now to support album sales, she would flop hard.

Her label will probably try to push a third song before releasing the actual album, because Bon Apetit and CTTR ain't doing anything really..

The release idea seems to be following the old-school system of 2/3 singles months before the album comes out. That concept doesn't work in today's music world. Streaming has changed things so much and our attention spans are lower than ever. Nowdays, everyone, even the big acts, are putting out their albums a month or so after the lead single. You have to strike while the iron's hot. I mean, Gaga announced the name of her lead single, the album name, the album cover and tracklist all on the same day. That's what a lot of other artists are doing too. If Katy wants to do it the old-fashioned way, her label isn't doing its job right. She had so much hype building around Prism but it seems like there's no hype train around this album. We still don't know the name of it, the cover, the tracklist, the theme, the genre, anything. She said on that pre-BRITS interview that she was making the dance album she'd always wanted to do but neither single has matched that yet. If she doesn't start dropping big details soon, people will just lose faith in the project and move on.

And some of you are saying that she could scrap BA from the album, but how? She can't scrap it without scrapping CTTR as well and that was too big a hit to remove. She's already gone on record saying that CTTR is the single from her new album and that she's been writing since June. I think there was also some announcement of a summer release. You don't make lyric videos, official videos, promo videos and a promo truck for buzz singles. She's stuck with these songs as the introduction and she's going to have to keep them. If she doesn't put them on the album, it betrays the fans who liked them and makes it look like even she doesn't like her own album. Plus, she's already waited too long to put this album out. She can't go back to the drawing board now and waste even more time or she really will flop.
