I'm dutch hun, I would hear it too. Dutch is basically part of the german language. But I really couldn't hear it in that video or in the song. Not even in the acapella. :oprah:

If you would hear it, you would hear it :trollga::trollga::trollga::trollga:

But it says 'Koons' in the booklet.

it said "kunst" in the first Gagachella concert backdrop, and "koons" in the second Gagachella weekend backdrop.

If you are German and your brain processes human speech through a German lens, she definitely sounds like she's saying verdammte here.

That's fine, but through my English lens I also thought she was singing "tell me wotcha" instead of "tell me who hurt ya" in Come To Mama. Didn't mean I was right.

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

Which I would think that, both would be good. Although I prefer Kunst more somehow. :rip:

:oprah: All the other Dutch people I've spoken to would likely have taken offense at being mashed in with Germans. But technically, yeah, I suppose - the North Germanic languages exist essentially as a huge swath of dialect chains, and only a select few have been given official status.

:air: I can't even begin to explain how badly I misheard the repeated phrase 'back to the past' in the old Samurai Jack opening theme.

The only problem I have with "Kunst" is, that it sounds weird, if you are german (imo) when it's

"a" Kunst. (german -> ich bin eine Kunst). In our grammar we would say "I am the Kunst" (Ich bin die Kunst) or just "I am Kunst" (Ich bin Kunst).

It really is Without The .. I don't know why people make it verdammte, just because it's German. :madge:

Then I could say also, why people make it Kunst, if the lyric video clearly says Koons and the Kunst at Coachella was a mistake (according to @Slayer)

For Applause it's Kunst.  ( Kunst is german/dutch means "Art" in English )

One second I'm the Art, and suddenly the Art is me!  Makes much more sense than Koons.. And I know it's the Artist for the Blue Ball on the Cover.

For Scheiße it's Without the!

The booklet says koons
Edit:Nvm someone else already said that

And then it was changed to 'Koons' in the second weekend because it was clearly wrong the first time.

She is literally a Koons swan in the music video when she's singing that line.

Nobody knows.
I think not that it was a mistake and thats both possible (like with verdammte and without the).
Gaga and her team know the lyrics better and longer than anyone and I dont think they would insert the wrong lyrics.

So that I hope that the discussion ends here.
My only desire was to hear your opinions what u hear at 4.35.
No wannabe-knowers / rude comments - just your opinion.
As I´ve seen, thats a real challenge for some guys ^^

Hope that this thread gonna be locked soon.

In my head, it's always a combination of all these ha-ha :D

("One second I'm a Koons, then... suddenly- the Kunst is me...", makes sense for example)

"Without the Scheiße yeah, verdammte Scheiße yeah"... :music:
