MR, is a moderate US hit. But definitely not a big success elsewhere DWUW underperformed sadly, but still a big radio hit. The potential smash hit that went away. Taylor is very influential in the music industry. If she was actively trying to sabotage someone, I'm sure it'd work. Maybe she manipulated people against Katy, or told them they'd never work together again unless they stopped working with Katy or something. Hence the flop era and bad music. Let's face the truth Katy had a lot of hits because of her alchemy with Dr. Luke... Working with Max Martin is not really working for her for the moment.
